Staying at home means digging through your makeup and putting it all on your face to keep your hands busy from reading more articles that heighten your panic and wiping down your counters for the 8th time even though no one else has been in your space 🙋🏻‍♀️. I like to stay informed but have started feeling a bit overwhelmed, so I took a little break today and phew I needed it. Anyways, what song are you singing while you wash your hands? Mine is the chorus to ‘Love on Top’ and I’ve definitely gone through the key changes more than once 👸🏻.

It’s #internationalwomensday ♥️, and no coincidence that it’s falling on the most gloriously sunny, beautiful, serene Sunday (and Daylight Savings 🙏🏼). I’m wearing the new @stoneandstrand Cigar Bands (gift), and for each ring sold, they’ll be donating $15 to Justice For Migrant Women – which uses education, public awareness, and advocacy to ensure that all migrant women are guaranteed human and civil rights. An amazing cause and a wonderful way to celebrate today ✨.

An exciting *giveaway* with @artipsstudio and their gel nail strips which I’ve been playing with the past few weeks and am loving the effect! I love the look of nail art but my hands are too shaky to make anything cute, and this is an easier way to get different, fun designs without heading to a nail salon. I used to use the Sally Hansen strips wayyy back (I don’t think they even make those anymore!) so I have the hang of application, but you definitely have to figure out the technique, although I find it’s pretty easy! I think the key is to take your time, don’t choose a strip that’s too large for your nail, make sure you really push the strip into the nail and around the edges, and I like to use a bit of topcoat to really seal everything in – making sure to drag some along the top edge of the nail.
