NEW YORK, WE ARE OPEN! Our VEJA store is now open in New York City’s NoLita. This is VEJA’s first location in the United States and comes just three months after we opened a flagship store in Paris. The store is located at 205 Mulberry Street, which was previously the home of @creaturesofcomfort, one of the best concept stores in New York. It’s not only offering every style and colorway of VEJA’s celebrated sneakers, but the space will serve as a hub for conversation and gathering. In keeping with VEJA’s ethos, the team worked to create a simple, minimal, and refined space with limited waste. We collaborated with New York architect @p_vdg of @wxystudio. With unique design elements in the space include custom neon pieces by Brazilian artist @klebermatheusstudio. Beyond the materials, even the store’s electricity is 100% renewable with wind energy provided by Abest. A video display to the left of the entryway shares our story, to dive inside the entire process of making a shoe – from the innovative materials to the fair wages. Our store is open from Monday to Saturday 11 am – 7 pm and on Sunday 12 – 6 pm. Don’t miss our opening party this Thursday 5th of March at the 205 Mulberry St! Naravno, s naglaskom na ekološku osviještenost, samoodrživost i sve što ide u skladu s najpoznatijim veganskim tenisicama na svijetu.

Nismo ni očekivali ništa manje od toga. Od kada je njihove tenisice odijenula Meghan Markle, Vojvotkinja od Sussexa, Veja su postale svjetski hit. Možete ih pronaći i na nekoliko mjesta u Zagrebu, ali i bez problema naručiti online s Veja službene stranice. Brend koji od samog početka prvenstveno ulaže u sam dizajn i od čega se izrađuju tenisice, imajući na umu da ne zagađuju okoliš, budu u skladu s trendom modne samoodrživosti i pazi da njihova proizvodnja nikako loše ne utječe na planet – sve zahvaljujući osnivačima među kojima je i Sébastien Kopp, sada je otvorio i svoj prvi dućan u New Yorku.

A ono što ga čini zanimljvim je činjenica kako su rađene minimalne intervencije. Sébastien Kopp odlučio je uopće ga ne preurediti tako je zidove ostavio sirovima, kao i podove. Jedino novo u dućanu je svjetlosna instalacija, a čak nisu korištene ni boje, otkrio je vlasnik za stranicu Vogue. Još jedav veliki plus za Veju, tako se to radi.
